Taylor and Langston wedding at the Bradenton Yacht Club was amazing from start to end and how fortunate I am to be hired to photograph their wedding. It was truly a joy and honor to be part of it. From the day I met Taylor at BYC, venue chosen for the wedding, I had a good feeling this was going to work great for both of us: Client and photographer. It was like a perfect match.
Their AMAZING wedding day was filled with pure and genuine shower of love poured by families and friends. Emotions were high and vibrant when Taylor's parents walked her down the isle. This tight community have been anticipating this moment for quite a while and that's because Taylor and Langston have known each other their entire lives. 24 years! From the ceremony up to the reception ,Taylor and Langston wedding day was like a fairy tale. Coral and pale pink made a beautiful palette on the decor, flowers and cake. It was also color choice on the bridesmaid dresses. The cake created by Nikkie at Sweet Edible creations was absolutely delicious. DJ Steven Vaughn rocked the house with a great selection of songs. Taylor and Langston opted to have their wedding day also recorded in video and hired Andre Ameal from The wedding video group.
Barbara and David's wedding was at their home in Sarasota, Florida. This lovely couple planned the wedding themselves and what a wonderful job they did. They were blessed with a beautiful weather, blue skies and also by the abundant support and love of their kids, friends and family .
This Christian wedding was officiated by Pastor Otto Fernandez from Riverside Baptist Church in Miami. Buffet was provided by Simply Gourmet, a local family operated catering. And John Reece entertained with awesome sax solo and line dance. One of the highest point of this wedding was definitely the Ecuador candy and the Argentinian cake. Everybody, including me , love it! It was absolutely delicious!
Congratulations again and many happy years together!

LeeAnn and Juan romantic wedding ceremony held at the Sarasota Botanical Gardens was as intimate and lovely as the peaceful garden itself. INTERVIEW FROM VIP DU JOUR MAGAZINE
"She is a wedding photographer based in Sarasota, Florida. Her love affair with wedding photography started in 2006 working as a photographer assistant for a photographer in Tampa, Florida. ” I immediately felt very comfortable taking candid photos at cocktail hour, people dancing at the reception, table shots…so I loved the wedding atmosphere from day one.” Few years later, loaded with the right gear, knowledge and experience , she decided to go SOLO and never stopped since. “My boss retired in 2010 and I was itching to photograph a wedding by myself. I knew I could do it. I was made for this! I photographed 4 weddings over 6 hours that same year. ”
Her photography style is a combination of traditional for family and group portraits, photojournalism for wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. For the wedding couple portraits, she likes to guide them by just giving simple directions. ” I am a wedding story-teller, that’s what I am. The photographs I produce on a wedding day is filled with genuine emotions and natural joy. In a non-obtrusive way, but very focused, I like to capture the moments not only during the wedding ceremony or dance at the reception but everything and everybody, from the beautiful flowers and decor, your guests arriving or at the cocktail hour, the children being themselves, the venue staff and other vendors that helped with your wedding day and up to the wedding couple portraits. ” Carlla Juffo’s approach to create beautiful couples portraits is as she defines as simple and dynamic. ” Over the years and over 300 weddings under my belt, my photography style matured to a point where collaboration with the bride and groom and minimum direction is the perfect formula to deliver timeless and romantic images. Sometimes all is needed is beautiful natural light, the look of love, holding hands . Simple like that. ”
” MY MAIN GOAL ON YOUR WEDDING DAY IS TO CAPTURE NATURAL, TIMELESS IMAGES THAT SPEAKS TO YOUR HEART.”
Nikon has been her choice for cameras and lenses for over 10 years, always upgrading to the newest model available in the market. Recently, she purchased a Nikon film camera following a growing trend among wedding photographers to shoot both digital and film. ” With Nikon, I can always count with focus accuracy and sharpness. I love the colours it delivers. I own a D750, D7200 and the spectacular F100 to shoot film. ”
In addition to weddings, she offers Engagement photo sessions, Family photos on the beach, Sweet 16 and Fotos de Quinceaneras y Bodas. Once a year, she volunteers her photography services to Sarasota Film Society, Girls Scouts of Venice, The Spanish community at Saint Jude Catholic Church and Sarasota Animal Rescue. Carlla Juffo also supports the organizations Brides against cancer and Wish upon a wedding. “I love what I do and I love working for a good cause.”
“Being able to speak fluently Spanish and Portuguese helps connect my services with more people looking for a photographer in Sarasota and in the Southwest Coast of Florida.”
